Yesterday, I crossed the border between Austria and Germany to participate in the Across Borders Workshop Julia Budka kindly invited me.
So I find myself sitting in the very impressive Musem of Egyptian Art in Munich, listening to all those colleagues from archaeology give their talks and reports. And while I’m able to gain quite some background information I have been lacking until now, I can’t help but wonder if during my presentation tomorrow I will be able to convey what I want to say without sliding deep into the physics and statistics involved and thus loosing my audience. Luckily, I’ll have Giulia d’Ercole with me and she’ll do the heavy archaeological lifting.
Anyway, I’m very much looking forward to the discussions today and tomorrow, I feel priviledged that I can listen in to those and maybe even contribute.
